501( c ) (4)
Is the AZ Homeowners Coalition aware of any HOA’s in Arizona that have converted to a 501 ( c) (4)? How successful are they. Also what can homeowners do to prevent this transition to a 501 (c ) (4) , if their board voted to make our HOA a 501 ( c) (4)?

I’m not sure how many times i have to answer this question. The 501 c 4 IRS classification is the appropriate classification for HOA’s and Condominiums and should have been established along with the creation of the non-profit corporation with the Arizona Corporations Commission.
