Condominium Security Cameras in common spaces? Rules and Regulations for Visual and Audio Recording by devices?
Condominium Laws, Regulations, and Signage requirements when cameras are installed on the Condominium Common Spaces? Recording of audio and visual taping records held on record and do owners have access to those recordings? What is the signage requirements notifying residents of the surveillance devices?

There are no specific laws governing these devices in Condominiums or Planned communities. The associations have the right and in some cases the obligation to install these devises for security purposes only. While not an attorney I do not believe that the association has any obligation to allow unit owners to view these recordings. Law enforcement yes but not just any homeowner. The association has absolutely no authority to install these cameras to violate the privacy of the unit owners, but they may be used to protect the common property from damage, and to record any such damaging events. I’m not aware of any signage requirement for security cameras any more than you would be required to do if you installed security cameras on your house.
