Parking on widened driveway
I widened my driveway so I could park an additional car 10 years ago it was approved and now I’m getting violations from the HOA saying that I can’t park there any longer I thought there was a 6 year statute of limitations but my HOA is not honoring that what can I do? I know that there’s about 30 other widened driveways with people parking and they are not getting violations so I feel like I’m being targeted for this

What has the authority listed for the associations claim of violation. Was it a CC&R violation or a rule? Do you still have the approval from the association for the driveway modification? There are no statutes of limitations for HOA enforcement in law.
The association has a duty to treat all members fairly and to act reasonably in the enforcement of rules. Contest the violations to directly to the board in an open meeting. They may try to hear your appeal in closed session but you can remind them that it is your choice as to where your appeal is heard u def the law. Make sure as many people as possible attend the meeting. Make the board do what ever they are going to do in front of the members.
