Recording Board Meetings
Can a HOA board member record a meeting in AZ without declaring that the meeting is being recorded?

Relative to recordings, Arizona is a single party state, which means that anyone can record anyone else in public without their permission. Arizona’s open meeting laws for Condo’s and HOA’s also specifically allow the recording of board or member meetings. So yes, the board member can audio or video record a meeting without announcing that the meeting is being recorded, but then again so can you and everyone else at that meeting.
