HOA Trying to Kill sale of my unit
My HOA is run by a sociopath who is doing absolutely everything she can think of to kill the sale of my unit. She won’t return title papers, vandalized the front of my unit yesterday and won’t disclose who (if anyone) they have insurance with. What to be done? Closing in 3 weeks.

The association is required by law to provide you that information, and if they refuse to provide any information requested by your title agent, they forfeit any lien they have on your home for assessments or fines and penalties. As for the vandalization of your property call the police and report them, before you clean anything up. You don’t have time to file any petition with ADRE or the court to enforce the law, but if for any reason they actually interfere with the sale of your property you could sue them for everything they have, both as a corporation and the board member personally.
Show then that you are serious and will not stand by ideal waiting for your sale to be delayed.
